Mission
The Studio dei Leoni is an educational outlet for students who are interested in fulfilling the need in their lives to study and create art. It is designed to expose the student to the foundation found in the university curriculum while also catering to a student’s individual needs, desires and goals.

The classes offer color theory, design, composition and abstract theory as it applies to the particular work of each student. In addition there is an emphasis on exposure to art history and the work of artists working today. Ongoing classes are offered in which each student works independently and is helped with specific projects that they wish to explore. These classes are for all levels of experience. In addition, there is an advanced class in which the students are self-sufficiently working on their own and come together for group discussions. Workshops are also available that provide intense focus on specific subjects such as the landscape, figure, color theory, abstraction and many others.

The studio also gives exhibitions of student work and invites artists from the community to participate in collaborative projects such as "The Quilt of Self"(over 100 squares of symbolic self-portrait interpretations) and "The Wall of Memory."
